1. Berries

Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries...you name the berry, they are all good for you! I’m guessing you’d like a healthy digestive system, which starts with getting enough fiber. Well, berries are loaded with fiber. Most berries, such as blueberries, are very rich in vitamin A and C. 2. Carrots

These orange vegetables are packed with carotenoids, giving them their bright orange color. The carotenoids in the carrots help prevent cancer and conditions dealing with inflammation within the body, such as asthma. They are easily transportable and low in calories considering how dense they are.

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Spinach

Spinach is one of the best vegetables you could eat. Looking for something packed with vitamins and other vital nutrients? Look no more - spinach is loaded with vitamins A, C, K, and E, in addition to some fiber, iron, potassium, magnesium, and calcium. 4. Sweet Potatoes

Considering you would like a healthy immune system, eyes and bones, sweet potatoes are for you. Once ingested into the body, the alpha and beta carotene in the potatoes and transformed into vitamin A, which helps your immune system. Say you have one sweet potato of about medium-size, you would be eating four times the amount of suggested daily vitamin A and C. 5. Black Beans

Want to get smarter? Try black beans. They contain anthocyanins that help with how the brain works. These are loaded with iron, which is pretty important in order for you to stay alive, since it brings oxygen to your lungs, but no big deal. 6. Red Tomatoes

Remember to eat the red ones because the reds are loaded with lycopene, which help to prevent lung, prostate, and other types of cancers. Having about 22 mg of lycopene a day is recommended,  which is equivalent to eating 8 cherry red tomatoes.

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Yogurt

Yogurt not only tastes delicious, but has probiotic organisms that are known to help keep the good bacteria inside of your body. While not all yogurts have these probiotics, it is easy to find them, as you just need to buy ones that have “live and active cultures”.  It has a great amount of potassium, calcium, protein, and zinc. 8. Oats

Oats, or as most of you know, oatmeal, help to prevent heart disease, thanks to the soluble fiber. This fiber slows down the release of the sugars from the carbs, since oats do have a great amount of carbs.
